1) Work Types · Sharing · Home Screen

Q. The work type I want is not listed.

A. You can edit an unused work type and rename it. Work names support up to 3 characters, and duplicates are not allowed.

Q. If my coworker updates their schedule, will it update on my screen instantly?

A. The change is synced immediately, and you will see the update after refreshing your screen.

Q. I want to show a shared schedule (e.g., Mom / Partner) on my home screen.

A. First, receive the shared schedule. Then go to Settings → Home Screen Work and select the person whose schedule you want to show.

2) Alarm · Notifications

Q. Can I use an MP3 file on my phone as my alarm sound?

A. Yes. Go to Settings → Alarm → Alarm Sound and tap “MP3” to select a file. This feature is available on Android only.

Q. On iOS, the alarm rings briefly and then stops.

A. This may happen if the app is force-closed or restricted by battery optimization or memory-cleaning apps. Please check the following:

  • Exclude ShiftMate / Nurse Shift Calendar from battery optimization settings
  • Open the app once every 1–2 days
  • In “Do Not Disturb”, allow notifications from the app

Note: On Android, alarms work normally even if the app is force-closed.

3) Data Storage · Backup & Restore

Q. How is my data stored?

A. Work schedules are securely backed up to Google Cloud in real time. Calendar events are stored inside your phone’s default calendar app and not on external servers.

Q. I’m switching to a new phone. How do I restore my data?

A. Simply log in with the same account. Your work data will restore automatically from the cloud.

4) Schedule & Calendar Management

Q. My calendar shows duplicate holidays or unwanted events. How can I hide them?

A. Tap the event to check which calendar it belongs to. Then go to Settings → Calendar and uncheck the calendars you don't want to display.

Q. How do I delete a schedule/event?

A. You can delete events in two ways:

  1. Swipe left or right on the event in the list
  2. Open the event → tap the Delete button at the bottom

Q. When I tap a shared link, “Open in App” doesn’t work.

A. This issue occurs if the link opens inside another app’s internal browser. Please open the link using a default browser (Chrome, Safari).

6) iOS ↔ Android Compatibility

Q. Can iPhone and Android users share schedules with each other?

A. Yes! You can share schedules across platforms. Coworker shifts update in real time and can be viewed instantly.

7) Other Questions

Q. Is there a “Group” feature?

A. There is no separate group system. Instead, use color labels to distinguish between multiple groups or roles. This allows you to see everything on one screen without switching between groups.
